As an RMM & Automation Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role by blending your technical expertise with direct client engagement. You will be responsible for delivering expert advice and support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met with cutting-edge automation and RMM solutions across multiple platforms, including Kaseya, Datto, Ninja, Atera, and ConnectWise. This role is 100% remote and can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability.
The Role
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert consultancy on RMM platforms such as Kaseya, Datto, Ninja, Atera, and ConnectWise, along with automation solutions.
- Lead client-facing technical sessions, troubleshooting, and in-depth discussions to resolve complex issues.
- Regularly engage with clients to review technology and service delivery, implementing continuous improvements based on client feedback.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring smooth handling of escalations to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities for innovative solutions and communicate them directly with clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Collaborate closely with clients to deliver tailored automation strategies that meet their specific business needs.
- Assist in creating and delivering best practice configuration and automation content aligned with company standards.
- Be available for on-call support to handle urgent client needs and critical system issues.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on client feedback, service improvements, and the overall quality of service delivery.
The Requirements
- Hands-on experience with RMM tools such as Kaseya, Datto, ConnectWise, Atera, or Ninja.
- Strong understanding of automation concepts and familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or C# (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in a customer-facing IT role, with a focus on RMM and managed services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT monitoring and automation best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- A proactive, creative mindset with a strong desire to solve customer problems and ensure client success.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or account management roles, particularly in IT settings.
- Familiarity with custom automation and development.
- Certifications within MSP tool stacks (RMM, PSA, etc.).
- Experience with API’s, additional scripting languages, or automation frameworks.
